Knights Donate More Than 20k+ Pounds of Food and More Than 20k+ Dollars in Cash Donations
Our Council’s Brother Knights have collected tens of thousands of pounds of food and tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of donations from parishioners and have distributed them all to local Catholic-affiliated food banks.This is the Website for Knights of Columbus, Queen of Angels Council #15719. Our Brother Knight members are Catholic men of Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish in Newport Beach, California.
Our Mission
Our Council’s Mission is to assist the clergy, staff, parishioners, and the greater community of Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish in any reasonable way we can. This includes acting as the lead ministry for Parish initiatives, or by helping out other Parish ministries to complete their initiatives.
Our Values
Our Council’s core value is Charity, which, together with Unity and Fraternity, comprise the core values of the Knights of Columbus. Through direct charitable donations, or through charitable acts on behalf of other Parish ministries, including the OLQA Parish School, or through other charitable activities such as Food Drives, our Council is proud to be at the forefront of charitable causes within OLQA Parish.
Get involved
Father Michael J. McGivney, pictured here, founded the Knights of Columbus in 1882 with a mission of Charity. He is now Blessed Father McGivney, on his way to sainthood. If you are a Catholic male and you want to become more involved with OLQA Parish but you aren’t sure which particular ministry you want to be a part of, then Knights of Columbus Council 15719 is the perfect place for you! Because we help out so many other ministries within our Parish, you can sample what any of the other ministries are about and contribute to their purposes while serving the community of Knights. There will be many opportunities for you to volunteer to serve our Parish community, as well as to make new friends and to enjoy Catholic fellowship.

It is easier than ever to join the Knights of Columbus. You can sign up online here, and it is free for the first year (with the coupon code). That affords you membership to Knights of Columbus Supreme Council only. After signing up online, if you then want to become a member of our local Queen of Angels Council 15719, then please indicate as such on the sign-up form, and one of our Council’s Brother Knights will contact you as to how to join our Council. Joining our (or any) local Knights Council involves paying the Council’s annual fee and taking part in a Ceremonial, either in person or online.
